247 - Bolsonaro supporters attacked a Furnas transmission line tower in the early hours of Monday (9), located in the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and which connects the Itaipu hydroelectric plant to the Brazilian electrical system. Itaipu is located in Paraná, on the border with Paraguay.
There were reports of attempted vandalism at other facilities, according to a report published this Tuesday (10) by newspaper Valor Econômico.
The Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) has set up a crisis cabinet, coordinated by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), to preserve the physical and cyber integrity of facilities identified as critical infrastructure of the National Interconnected System (SIN).
