MADRID, Dec 9 (Reuters) - Telefónica said on Monday that it has not yet received formal notification from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), which last week asked the company to exit TIM Participações or seek a new partner for Vivo, due to its larger stake in Telecom Italia.
"Given that Telefónica has not yet been officially notified and therefore does not have complete official information regarding the two decisions by Cade, it cannot yet comment on the measures and actions to be taken," the operator said in a statement to the Spanish market regulator, responding to a request from the Italian market regulator Consob.
