"GDP Preview," IBC-Br rises 1,17% in July
The result exceeded market expectations.
Infomoney - The Economic Activity Index (IBC-Br), considered a leading indicator of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) performance, rose 1,17% in July compared to June, the Central Bank reported this Thursday (15).
The result came in above market expectations (which projected a 0,30% increase, according to Refinitiv consensus) and represents the second consecutive month of growth. In June, the indicator rose 0,69% compared to the previous month.
