Brazil Agency - Petrobras' total oil and natural gas production reached 2,77 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) in October. Of this total, 2,67 million were produced in Brazil and 104 abroad. The information was released this Tuesday (14) by the state-owned company.

According to Petrobras, average oil production in Brazil was 2,16 million barrels per day (bpd). Natural gas production in the country, excluding liquefied volume, was 80,3 million cubic meters per day, representing a 1,5% decrease compared to September. The reduction was due to maintenance shutdowns of the Cidade de Anchieta and Cidade de Caraguatatuba platforms.

In the pre-salt layer, oil and natural gas production operated by Petrobras was 1,63 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, a volume 2,9% lower than the previous month. This result was also due to maintenance shutdowns of the same platforms.
