With the voluntary dismissal program, the company expects to lay off up to 12 employees and save R$ 33 billion over four years. In recent years, especially after Operation Lava Jato, the company has already drastically reduced its workforce. Today, the company employs 276 people, of which only 78 are direct employees. Three years ago, the total was 440.

"The decision to open a new point of sale for the companies to be sold was communicated by the Director of Refining and Natural Gas, Jorge Celestino Ramos, in an internal memo," Pita reports.
