Petrobras raises gasoline price by 1,7% and reduces diesel price by 0,3%.

The price of gasoline at Petrobras refineries will rise 1,3% this Wednesday (25); while the price of diesel oil should decrease by 0,3%, according to the state-owned company; in the accumulated month, gasoline rose 2,2%.

Brazil Agency - The price charged at Petrobras refineries for gasoline will increase by 1,7%, starting tomorrow (25), and for diesel, reduced by 0,3%. The variations are part of the state-owned company's policy of freely following fuel price variations in the international market, also taking into account exchange rate changes.

The final price to the consumer at the pumps will depend on each reseller company and the gas stations themselves, which operate freely in the market, each with its own profit margins, and is not controlled by Petrobras.

Since the beginning of this month, the price of diesel has decreased by an average of 4% across 16 price adjustments during this period. Gasoline, on the other hand, saw a price increase of 2,2% over the same period, also across 16 adjustments.
