Infomoney - Petrobras (PETR3;PETR4) announced this Monday (21) an increase of 2,3% in the price of diesel and 3,3% in the price of gasoline for refineries. The prices will be valid from August 22, according to information on the Petrobras website.

The new price revision policy was announced by the oil company on June 30th. With the new model, Petrobras hopes to keep up with market conditions and face competition from importers.

Instead of waiting a month to adjust its prices, Petrobras now evaluates all market conditions to adapt, which can happen daily. In addition to competition, information on exchange rates and international prices also weigh heavily in the price revision decision.
