SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Novonor stated this Friday to Braskem that it has not received any offers from potential buyers for its controlling stake in Brazil's largest petrochemical company, denying information published by the local press about potential interest from a group from the United Arab Emirates.
"Novoror informs that, since our last statements and up to the present moment, it has not received any proposal from potential interested parties that implies a material or binding evolution in the discussions with the five banks holding the fiduciary assignment of its indirect stake in Braskem," the company stated when questioned by the petrochemical company.
