247 - The new rate of the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) for cooking gas, defined by the states on Friday (23), will increase the price of the 13-kilogram cylinder by up to R$ 7,51.
According to information published this Monday (26) by Folha de S.Paulo newspaperThe state with the largest increase is Rio de Janeiro, where the tax rate will rise by 85% after the new values. In 11 other states and the Federal District, the increase will be greater than R$ 5 per gas cylinder, which currently costs an average of R$ 108,73.
