Reuters Petrobras will raise the average price of gasoline at refineries by 10% starting Thursday and will maintain the price of diesel, the state-owned oil company confirmed on Wednesday after being consulted.
This is the second increase in fossil fuel prices implemented by the company this month, following a recent recovery in oil prices.

The passing on of adjustments in gasoline prices charged at refineries to final consumers at gas stations is not immediate and depends on a number of factors, such as distribution and resale margins, taxes, and the mandatory addition of anhydrous ethanol.
