NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq technology index closed lower on Tuesday, pressured by weakness in technology stocks, while the Dow Jones index ended higher in a volatile session marked by seasonally low liquidity.
According to preliminary data, the S&P 500 lost 0,11%, to 6.198,10 points. The Nasdaq technology index fell 0,82%, to 20.202,89 points. The Dow Jones rose 0,92%, to 44.498,38 points.
