NEW YORK (Reuters) U.S. stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with investors assessing the impact of tariffs, after Yum Brands and other companies cited trade tariffs in their earnings or outlook.
According to preliminary data, the S&P 500 lost 0,49%, to 6.299,19 points. The Nasdaq technology index retreated 0,65%, to 20.916,66 points. The Dow Jones fell 0,14%, to 44.112,08 points.
