SAO PAULO (Reuters) - The Ibovespa closed almost unchanged on Friday, with financial agents reacting to a new batch of results, including the numbers from Banco do Brasil, whose shares advanced even after a 60% drop in profit, while Embraer exerted negative pressure.
The Ibovespa, the benchmark index of the Brazilian stock market, fell 0,08% to 136.239,94 points, according to preliminary data, after hitting a low of 135.583,07 points and a high of 136.431,44 points during the day. For the week, it accumulated a gain of 0,24%.
The trading volume on Friday, which was also marked by the expiration of stock options, totaled R$22,3 billion before final adjustments.
