Reuters Grendene will grant collective leave in all units located in Brazil starting next Monday, for a period of 21 days, as a measure to combat the new coronavirus, according to a relevant fact disclosed by the company this Friday.

The footwear manufacturer said the decision is part of "a series of preventive actions taken by the company to mitigate the risk of contamination and preserve the health of its employees, their families, and the communities in which it operates."

The adoption of collective vacations implies the shutdown of manufacturing and administrative activities, with restricted access to company facilities, he added.
