Gol signs R$12 million leniency agreement with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.

Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes has signed a leniency agreement with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) as part of investigations into payments made to three companies between 2012 and 2013; the airline has committed to paying R$ 12 million in fines and reparations, as well as improving its integrity program within 120 days of the agreement's approval.

Reuters - Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes has signed a Leniency Agreement with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) as part of investigations into payments made to three companies between 2012 and 2013, according to a relevant fact disclosed this Tuesday.

The airline has committed to paying 12 million reais in fines and reparations, as well as improving its integrity program within 120 days of the agreement's approval, according to the document.

In return, the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office undertakes not to bring criminal or civil action against the company, its administrators and contractors, and to seek similar agreements with other public bodies.
