Zé Maria, general coordinator of the Unified Federation of Oil Workers (FUP), calls for the resignation of the president of Petrobras after the sale of the Carcará Field, which he considers an "absurd" deal that "encourages privatization and the dismantling of the company"; "Parente, since you want stability, you should retract your statement in favor of changes to the profit-sharing law and you should also resign from your position as president, since you reached it based on legal instability," says the oil workers' leader in a video, referring to the name "indicated by the coup-plotter Michel Temer."

Petrobras sold its 66% stake in the Carcará field for US$2,5 billion to the Norwegian energy company Statoil.
In a video, the general coordinator of FUP, Zé Maria, calls for Parente's resignation in protest against what he calls an "absurd" negotiation that "encourages privatization and the dismantling of the company."
