247 - The general coordinator of the Unified Federation of Oil Workers (FUP), Deyvid Bacelar, criticized the Board of Directors (CA) of Petrobras for submitting a proposal to the company's shareholders to increase the fixed remuneration of its directors by 43,8%. salary increase This represents an increase of approximately R$ 43 in the salaries of the company's top management.

"Between 2016 and 2022, we experienced a 3,8% wage loss relative to inflation, with zero adjustment in 2020. As if that weren't enough, they also took away rights that our category had acquired through collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) over the years. This year we will have a new CBA negotiation so that we can recover benefits and wage losses. Certainly, the treatment we will receive from the shareholders will not be so generous," he said.

The outgoing board members voted in favor of the readjustment, while those who would benefit in the future abstained from voting: Jean Paul Prates, Rosângela Buzanelli, Marcelo Gasparino, and Francisco Petros. "Interestingly, the votes in favor of this absurd increase came from people who are at the end of their term. It seems they intend to damage the image of Prates, who assumed the presidency of the company less than two months ago," he stated.
