Homeownership fair generates R$ 2,5 billion in sales in São Paulo.

Agência Brasil - The volume of business closed during the 8th Caixa Home Ownership Fair, in the capital of São Paulo, increased by 19,9% ​​compared to last year. 61.775 people attended the event last weekend. 21.155 contracts were signed and processed. The negotiated values ​​reached R$ 2,5 billion.

The real estate fair offered 218 properties distributed between the city of São Paulo, the metropolitan region of São Paulo, and the coast. Among the properties offered, 193.500 are used properties and 24.500 are new or under construction. Of these, 15.200 properties qualify for the "Minha Casa, Minha Vida" (My House, My Life) program. 95 construction companies and 133 real estate agencies participated in the event.

According to the regional superintendent of Caixa Econômica Federal, Paulo José Galli, this year's edition exceeded expectations. "This demonstrates that the public is increasingly qualified and that the drop in interest rates pleased those interested in acquiring their own home."
