Embraer reports profit of R$289,4 million in the 3rd quarter.
The result represents a decrease compared to the same period of the previous year, when the company earned R$ 1,22 billion.
247 - Embraer reported an adjusted net profit of R$ 289,4 million in the third quarter of 2025, according to a balance sheet released this Tuesday (4). The value represents a significant drop compared to the R$ 1,22 billion recorded in the same period of 2024. The information is from money times.
According to the report, adjusted EBITDA — an indicator that reflects operational performance before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization — was R$1,27 billion, lower than the previous year's result. The adjusted EBITDA margin also decreased, from 21,1% to 11,7%.
Adjusted EBIT, which measures earnings before interest and taxes, totaled R$927,2 million in the quarter, compared to R$1,64 billion in the same period of 2024. As a result, the adjusted EBIT margin fell to 8,5%, from 17,6% in the previous year. The company attributed the weaker performance to reduced operating results in the Executive Aviation and Services & Support divisions.
In a statement, Embraer explained that the 2024 result had been boosted by a non-recurring factor. "There was a significant non-recurring item (US$150 million from the arbitration agreement with Boeing) in Q3 24, which increased the adjusted EBIT margin by approximately 900 basis points (from +8,7% to +17,6%) in the period," the company reported.
During the quarter, import tariffs from the United States totaled US$17 million. Despite the drop in profit, Embraer's net revenue reached R$10,9 billion, a 16% increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
Estimates maintained for 2025
Embraer maintained its projections for 2025. In the Commercial Aviation division, the company expects to deliver between 77 and 85 aircraft. In Executive Aviation, the forecast is for 145 to 155 deliveries. In the financial field, the company projects revenue between US$7,0 and US$7,5 billion, adjusted EBIT margin between 7,5% and 8,3%, and adjusted free cash flow equal to or greater than US$200 million.
Deliveries are booming.
In the third quarter of 2025, Embraer delivered 62 aircraft: 20 commercial jets, 41 executive jets, and one defense aircraft. This represents a 5% increase compared to the 59 deliveries made in the same period of 2024. The growth was mainly driven by Commercial Aviation, which increased by 25% year-on-year, while Executive Aviation remained stable.
