247 – Plunged into a credibility crisis that has been crumbling his empire, businessman Eike Batista wants to absolve himself of blame for his failure. In an interview with "The Wall Street Journal," he said that oil sector executives he used to call his "dream team" deceived him. He also stated that his investors exited the business too quickly.

"I own a large group. I can't do this alone. I could own a hospital, but without 50 surgeons in their respective areas, you're nothing. I don't have the specific knowledge. You wouldn't ask the owner of a hospital to operate on your kidney," he said. He also stated that his astrological chart indicated he had gone through a period that wasn't favorable, but that a good phase has now begun.
