Businessman intends to transfer control of MPX, a company operating in the electricity sector, to the German group E.ON; the transaction is expected to reach US$2,5 billion, according to Valor Econômico.

The negotiation foresees that the foreign company will increase its current stake of 11,7% to a percentage that gives it control. Other asset managers are expected to join the operation, in addition to E.ON, according to the newspaper. They are expected to buy part of the businessman's shares and participate in a capital increase, injecting US$1,5 billion into the company.
"Among these managers, Dynamo and Gávea-JP Morgan are expected to oversee the operation, in addition to Bradesco and BNDESPar. Another US$1 billion will go into Eike's pocket. In total, the operation should reach US$2,5 billion," the report states.
