Dow Jones rises after UnitedHealth earnings, while other indexes fall amid uncertainty about interest rate cuts.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Dow Jones index closed higher after hitting an intraday record on Friday, with UnitedHealth shares jumping after Berkshire Hathaway increased its stake in the health insurer, but other Wall Street indexes fell as mixed data clouded the Federal Reserve's next monetary policy move.

According to preliminary data, the S&P 500 lost 0,29%, to 6.449,68 points. The Nasdaq technology index fell 0,40%, to 21.626,68 points. The Dow Jones rose 0,10%, to 44.955,09 points.
