247 - The president of Plural, an association that brings together fuel distribution companies, Leonardo Gadotti, compared post-coup Brazil, governed by Michel Temer, to Venezuela. "Venezuela started like this, sending in police force," said Gadotti, referring to the government's threat to control diesel prices.

Leonardo Gadotti said that all distributors have been passing on the discount per liter of diesel since last Friday. The total amount, however, has not yet reached R$ 0,46 because the states have not reduced the reference price for calculating the ICMS (state sales tax).

Furthermore, he stated that each liter of diesel contains 10% biodiesel, which will not allow for the full discount.
