The previous day, the spot dollar closed the trading session with a gain of 0,33%, quoted at R$ 5,3193. At the opening this morning, at 9:04 AM, the US currency was up 0,14%, trading at R$ 5,327 on the sell side. On the B3 exchange, the October futures contract — currently the most liquid — showed an increase of 0,48%, reaching R$ 5,345.
Central Bank's Performance
The Central Bank announced two line operations for this Friday at 10:30 AM, involving the sale of dollars accompanied by a repurchase agreement, totaling US$2 billion. The objective is to roll over maturities from October. Additionally, at 11:30 AM, the monetary authority will hold an auction of up to 40 traditional currency swap contracts, also to renew positions maturing on October 1, 2025.
