A Datafolha survey, released this Monday (11), indicated that, for most Brazilians, inflation and unemployment will not fall in the short term; showing pessimism, 38% of those interviewed think that the country's economic situation will remain the same and 32% think it will worsen.

Inflation stands at 2,86% over the last twelve months. The target for 2018 is 3% to 6% - the midpoint of the target is 4,5%.
Regarding unemployment, the expectation that the rate will rise was 46%, a stable percentage this month compared to April. In December 2016, 67% believed the situation would worsen.
According to the survey, 28% predict that unemployment will remain the same and 22% predict that it will fall.
