Rio de Janeiro - Petrobras' total oil and natural gas production in Brazil in November reached 2,342,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed). According to Petrobras, this result is 1,2% higher than the previous month, when 2,315,000 boed were extracted. If the portion operated by Petrobras for partner companies is included, the increase (1,9%) is even greater in the same comparison.
In the company's exclusive oil production from its fields in Brazil, the average in November (1,957,000 barrels per day - bpd) was close to the level of October (1,960,000).
According to the company's assessment, two factors contributed to the stability of production: the new monthly (339,1 bpd) and daily production records in the pre-salt layer (362,3 bpd) and the start of operations of the P-63 platform in the Papa-Terra Field, in the Campos Basin, on November 11th.
The company also highlighted the start of operations of new wells connected to the P-26 platform in Marlim and the P-53 platform in Marlim Leste, in the Campos Basin, and the beginning, in November, of the long-duration test (LDT) of Lula Extremo Sul, in the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin, through the FPSO-Cidade de São Vicente.
Throughout the month, Petrobras carried out scheduled maintenance shutdowns on the Northeast Cluster platforms, FPSO-Cidade de Anchieta and P-53. This measure is part of efforts to increase operational efficiency in the Campos Basin.
The company also reported that the P-55 platform, in the Roncador Field, in the Campos Basin, is in final preparations to begin production. It has the capacity to process up to 180 barrels of oil and up to 4 million m³ of natural gas per day. The P-58 platform is currently being anchored at the Parque das Baleias Complex, in the Espírito Santo area of the Campos Basin. The P-62 platform began its journey to its final location in the Campos Basin today (30), and the P-61 will leave tomorrow (31) morning, also for the Campos Basin.
Regarding natural gas, Petrobras produced 61,296,000 cubic meters per day in Brazil in November, compared to 56,581,000 cubic meters per day in the previous month. After including the portion operated by Petrobras for its associated companies, the volume reached 68,794,000 cubic meters.
