247 - The president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, used social media to predict Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) victory in last year's presidential election, according to the column by journalist Roberto Campos Neto. William Amado, from Metrópoles.

 "Campos Neto used to bring statistical forecasts to the group that his colleagues were eagerly awaiting. In them, the president of the Central Bank stated that, based on statistics, he was certain that Jair Bolsonaro would be re-elected," the report highlights. 

Until the beginning of this year, Campos Neto was participating in a WhatsApp group titled "Bolsonaro's Ministers" It has been the target of harsh criticism from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), as well as members of the federal government, for maintaining the basic interest rate at 13,75%. The Central Bank has been declared independent of the federal government.
