247 - Even under threat of dismantling, Caixa Econômica Federal announced that it will finance up to 100% of the purchase, for legal entities, of new trucks, buses, machines and equipment. The measure announced this Tuesday (16) is a flexibilization of the BNDES Finame credit line, whose financing reached a maximum of 80%.
The bank will allocate R$ 5 million monthly from this line of credit to the transportation sector. Working capital will also be offered, with rates starting at 0,83% per month, exemption from IOF (tax on financial transactions), and terms of up to 24 months.
Earlier, the government announced the creation of a credit line for self-employed truck drivers, with R$ 500 million available. Each self-employed truck driver will be able to obtain up to R$ 30, and the funds must be used for the purchase of tires and vehicle maintenance.
