247 BYD plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) from the Chinese startup DeepSeek and enable advanced driver assistance features in almost all of its future models. These measures will not represent an additional cost for buyers. This information was published in... Bloomberg.
The driver assistance system, called God's Eye, will be standard on vehicles priced from 100.000 yuan (US$13.688) in the Chinese market. First introduced in 2023, the tool uses various cameras and radar sensors to assist drivers with features such as valet parking, adaptive cruise control, and automated braking.
This year “will be the first year of intelligent driving for everyone,” said BYD President Wang Chuanfu during an event at the company’s headquarters in Shenzhen. “This will become an indispensable item in the next two to three years, just like seat belts or airbags.”
