SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Total oil production in Brazil in 2018 averaged 2,586 million barrels per day, a 1 percent decrease compared to 2017, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) reported on Monday.

The country's total natural gas production last year reached a daily average of 111 million cubic meters per day, a 1 percent increase compared to 2017.

Oil production in Brazil in December reached an average of 2,691 million barrels per day, up 4,8 percent compared to November and up 3 percent compared to December 2017.

Natural gas production in Brazil increased 1,2 percent in December compared to November, growing 0,3% compared to the same month in 2017.
