Bolsonaro announces privatization of the ports of Santos and Vitória in 2022.

247 - Jair Bolsonaro used Twitter on Sunday morning (9) to announce that he will continue his privatization agenda throughout 2022.
In the message, he says that the ports of Santos and Vitória will be privatized and, together, auctioned off, "will generate more than 37 jobs and more than R$ 2 billion in investment!". The head of the federal government, however, lies even when he believes it's good news for his side: by saying that the ports will create 37 jobs, he's trying to fool people. The two ports already employ more people than that, and they will not be expanded to accommodate such a large contingent. What will happen is a mere transfer of the employed workforce to the administration of whoever wins the privatization auctions.
Given that it is an election year, Bolsonaro may face many difficulties in Congress in advancing privatization agendas, since many politicians prefer to avoid controversial topics to ensure re-election.
