Banco do Brasil suspends advertising on fake news websites.

Banco do Brasil had previously claimed that it had no control over its advertisements, as the advertising was handled by a media platform.

247 - Following a ruling by the Federal Court of Auditors (TCU), Banco do Brasil announced that on Monday (8) it adopted the "necessary measures" to suspend advertisements on certain websites, blogs, portals and social networks that spread fake news.

The bank had previously claimed that it had no control over the advertisements, as its advertising was handled by a media platform.
