In a live broadcast on the XP brokerage channel on YouTube, the president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, said that he is working with a devastating scenario for the Brazilian economy, with a depression of 5,5%.

247 - The president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, revealed a devastating scenario for the Brazilian economy in 2020 during a live broadcast on the XP brokerage's YouTube channel. In it, he stated he was working with a scenario of a 5,5% drop in Brazilian GDP – which would be the biggest recession of all time. Campos Neto also said that card sales, according to a Cielo indicator, fell by as much as 90% in the first weeks after the coronavirus outbreak.
