247 – In another round of discussions, bank workers from São Paulo and the surrounding region demanded that Febraban (National Federation of Banks) guarantee that there will be no reduction in jobs or hiring of outsourced, intermittent, or temporary professionals.
Negotiations are part of the 2018 wage campaign. The category also demands that the collective agreement include a commitment from employers not to cut jobs for "precarious" positions.
The negotiations are scheduled to end on August 1st, when a new round of negotiations will take place, this time focusing on the economic clauses.
