247 - The new bulletin of the “Focus” report, released this Monday (15), intensified once again the forecast for the fall in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2020, now at 6,51% against the 6,48% previously released. In addition, it also reduced inflation expectations for the same period. The information is from the portal G1.
The recorded reduction in expectations is the eighteenth this year. GDP can be interpreted as the sum of all goods and services produced in Brazil or a specific region during a given period.
The “Focus” report is published by the Central Bank (BC) and compiles weekly data through surveys with more than 100 financial institutions.
