ANP sells more than 500 million liters of biodiesel in auction.
Almost all (99,1%) of the volume traded came from producers who have the Social Fuel Seal, a social certification issued by the Ministry of Agrarian Development; according to the ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels), the auction results show that the diesel oil market forecasts sales of approximately 10,9 billion liters of B5 (with 5% biodiesel and 95% diesel) for the second two-month period of 2014.

The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) announced today (17) that 549,6 million liters of biodiesel were traded in last week's auction. The average price was R$ 1,935 per liter, which means a discount of 18,07% compared to the maximum reference price established for the auction (R$ 2,362 per liter).

The 35th auction held by the ANP aims to guarantee the supply of biodiesel in the national market between March and April of this year.
