Alckmin as Lula's vice-presidential candidate will not change the economic program, says the PT's secretary-general.

"Our differences are in the past," said Congressman Paulo Teixeira, who was part of the opposition to the former governor of São Paulo.

247 - Federal deputy and secretary-general of the PT, Paulo Teixeira (SP), a supporter of the Lula-Alckmin ticket, stated that the former governor is not acting to alter the economic and government program that is being developed by the party.

"While his [Alckmin's] name enters the debate, fundamental issues for our project are being discussed without any change in the PT's agendas," he tells the column. Monica Bergamo, in Folha de S.Paulo. 

Teixeira, who was part of the opposition to the former governor of São Paulo, admits that "all possible steps will be taken to defeat Bolsonarism," which includes an alliance with Alckmin. "Our differences are in the past."
