247 - Embraer shares registered strong appreciation this Wednesday (30) after the company was spared from the new tariffs applied by the United States government. The information is from Reuters, which detailed the immediate effects of the measure signed by President Donald Trump.

Around 15:57 PM, Embraer shares were up 10%, trading at R$ 76. Meanwhile, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) traded on the New York Stock Exchange advanced 9,70%, reaching US$ 54,57. This strong performance reflects the exclusion of items such as turbojets, turbines, and other civil aviation products from the extra 40% tariff, which raises the total tax on Brazilian imports to 50%.

Trump's decree, released by the White House, states that the new tax will take effect in seven days. Although it affects a wide range of Brazilian products, such as some foods, minerals, and industrial goods, the list includes hundreds of exemptions—among them, articles from the civil aerospace sector, directly benefiting Embraer.

According to the White House statement, the measure was a response to "recent policies, practices, and actions of the Brazilian government that constitute an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States." The justification caused an immediate stir due to its political content, especially for explicitly mentioning former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and claiming he was being persecuted by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes.

Despite the resulting diplomatic tension, the financial market reacted with relative stability. The commercial dollar showed a slight increase of 0,13%, to R$ 5,77, while the Ibovespa index rose 0,57%, reaching 132.486 points — driven, among other factors, by the appreciation of Embraer's assets.
