VMB 2012 announces list of nominees.

247- Starting at 16 PM this Friday, internet users can vote for their favorite artists competing for the 2012 VMB awards. MTV released the list of nominees, and the band Vanguart leads the nominations, competing in six categories, including Best Band and Best Artist.

This year the awards have 12 categories, 3 of which are new - Best Band, Best Female Artist and Best Male Artist. The other categories remain the same - Music Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Hit of the Year, International Artist, Best Album, Best Cover, Best Song, Breakthrough Artist and Promising Newcomer.

Voting for the 18th edition of the VMB will take place in two stages. In the first stage, internet users will vote, and after this phase, a judging committee – made up of journalists, critics, and opinion leaders – will decide, based on the most voted entries, which will be the winners.
