Movie website targeted by hate attack after review of Gentili's film.

Following the case of the Folha journalist who criticized Danilo Gentili's film and was fired after pressure from the comedian, the film website CinePOP is suffering hate attacks instigated by the presenter; "The 'presenter' did not accept the criticism and created a 'hunting season' against media outlets that did not praise his 'comedy,' and sent his 15 million followers to 'catch up' us - among other websites and newspapers," says a text published on the CinePOP page; the site's professionals had their phone numbers leaked and have even received threats and calls in the middle of the night.

247 - Presenter Danilo Gentili has been instructing his followers on social media to "take care of" the websites and people who criticize his new film, "How to Become the Worst Student in School".

The latest victim is CinePOP, which reported on its Facebook page that it is "suffering hate attacks because of Danilo Gentili," after having published a... negative review to the film.

"The 'presenter' didn't accept the criticism and launched a 'hunting season' against media outlets that didn't praise his 'comedy,' and sent his 15 million followers to 'catch them up' – among other websites and newspapers," says the CinePOP article. The site's staff also had their phone numbers leaked and have been receiving threats and late-night calls, according to them.

This is not the first controversy involving criticism of the comedian's film. Folha journalist Diego Bargas reported this weekend that he was fired from the newspaper after reviewing the film and telling Gentili himself that he didn't like it. Folha stated that the dismissal was due to "his political positions on social media."
