Brazilian singer Preta Gil tests positive for Covid-19 for the second time and urges: "Get vaccinated."
"The vaccine is very effective," said the singer, who stated that she was "practically asymptomatic."
By Ranyelle Andrade, Metrópoles - Brazilian singer Preta Gil has tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time. She was one of the first Brazilian celebrities to be diagnosed with the disease in Brazil, in March 2020. On social media, the artist assured viewers that she is well and has mild symptoms, a fact she attributed to her vaccination.
“Here’s my warning to everyone. Omicron is indeed among us. So, get vaccinated. That’s all I’m appealing for. The vaccine is very effective,” she said. “I know other people with Covid-19 right now and they are doing well. The doctors said I’ll be able to get my booster dose in January,” continued Gilberto Gil’s daughter.
