Raphael Coutinho _PE247 – Starting this Tuesday (5) and continuing on Thursday (7) and Saturday (9), the workshop “Let’s eat Almodóvar”, promoted by the Murillo La Greca Museum, of the Recife City Hall, will take place. The meeting is an opportunity for people interested in cinema and gastronomy to learn a little more about the work of the Spaniard Pedro Almodóvar. The registration fee is R$ 80,00, which can be done by calling 3355-3127 or 3355-3129, and can be paid by check or cash. Classes take place at the museum itself, from 15 pm to 19 pm.

The course aims to introduce the public to aspects of Spanish culture present in Almodóvar's films, which often go unnoticed by those who haven't had a closer experience with the country's culture. To this end, there will be screenings of film excerpts, and the preparation and tasting of delicacies featured in these films.

The workshop, led by chef Eladia Martín, will also take a journey through the historical development of the Gazpacho recipe (a cold soup made with tomatoes and cucumbers), from its origins dating back to the 1st century AD to the new and sophisticated nuances incorporated into high-end Spanish cuisine.
