Marrone survives helicopter crash

The singer was slightly injured in the plane crash. The pilot was hospitalized with fractures in his foot and arm.

247 - Singer Marrone, from the country music duo Bruno and Marrone, was admitted to the base hospital in São José do Rio Preto on Monday afternoon, February 2nd, after a helicopter accident that occurred shortly after takeoff. He was admitted conscious and with minor injuries. His secretary is also hospitalized, and a medical bulletin on their health status is expected to be released by 18 PM.

The pilot arrived at the city's Santa Casa hospital with his left foot severed and conscious, according to his press office. He also broke an arm and, around 16:30 PM, was in the operating room undergoing an attempt to reconstruct his foot. The aircraft crashed into a tower and then a tree before hitting the ground. The press office of the country music duo confirmed that three people were on board the aircraft: the pilot, the singer Marrone, and his secretary, named Jardel. Marrone was returning to São Paulo to see his daughter when the accident occurred.
