Another Beatle in Brazil: Ringo Starr confirms shows in November.
Accompanied by his band, the drummer will tour six Brazilian capitals to promote his solo album.
247_After Paul McCartney, it's the turn of another ex-Beatle to perform on Brazilian soil. Ringo Starr arrives in the country in November for a seven-show tour in six capital cities. Accompanied by his band, the All-Starr Band, the show focuses on songs from the album Y Not, released in 2010. To please Beatles fans, the repertoire promises to recall old hits from the Liverpool quartet originally recorded in Ringo's voice, such as: With A Little Help From My Friends, Yellow Submarine (video below) and Don't Pass Me By.
The Brazilian tour begins on November 10th at the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre; then, Ringo performs in São Paulo on the 12th and 13th at the Credicard Hall; continues to Rio de Janeiro on the 15th at the Citibank Hall; on the 16th, he arrives in Belo Horizonte at the Chevrolet Hall; on the 18th, at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center in Brasília; and concludes the tour on the 20th in Recife at the Chevrolet Hall. Former Beatle Paul McCartney was in Brazil in 1990, 1993, 2010, and 2011. In the last two shows, tickets sold online in less than seven seconds. Will the same happen with the drummer?
