247 - Martinho da Vila and Chico Buarque visited former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Federal Police headquarters in Curitiba this Thursday, the 2nd. The two recorded a video after the visit, which was posted on Lula's social media (watch below).

"Lula will not trade dignity for freedom," they reported. Chico also criticized the attacks on freedom of the press, since interviews with Lula, a political prisoner, have been vetoed by the Judiciary.

According to the president of the PT (Workers' Party), Gleisi Hoffmann, Lula thanked the two for the visit and for organizing the "Free Lula Festival," which took place in Rio de Janeiro last Sunday.
