247 - President Lula (PT) celebrated on social media this Thursday (23) the three nominations of the Brazilian film “Ainda estou aqui” for the 2025 Oscars. After winning the Golden Globe for best actress in a drama film, Brazilian Fernanda Torres had her Oscar nomination formalized. She will compete in the Best Actress category, while the film as a whole will compete for the Best Picture award - being the first time for Brazil in this, the main category of the awards - and Best International Film.
"The 'I'm Still Here' team can now request a song. Three Oscar nominations: Best Foreign Language Film, Best Actress and, look, BEST PICTURE. So proud! Kisses to Fernanda Torres and Walter Salles," the president posted.
