Mid-Autumn Festival Gala to showcase traditional culture through innovative technology

The celebration will be broadcast simultaneously to viewers around the world on the evening of September 10th.

China Radio International China Media Group (CMG) has completed production of the 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala in the cities of Suzhou and Zhangjiagang. 

The celebration will be broadcast simultaneously to viewers all over the world on the evening of September 10th. 

Launched this year, the program will primarily present singing and dancing performances, symphonies, and classical operas to showcase the traditional customs of the holiday, as well as the longing for homeland and the patriotism of the Chinese people. The attraction will feature advanced technologies, blending stage scenes with virtual images to display the joy and harmony of the Mid-Autumn Festival through innovative audiovisual effects.
