Although the work, based on a book of the same name by Danilo Gentili, was released five years ago, they are being accused of promoting pedophilia due to a scene in which Porchat's character attempts to abuse the protagonists, two teenagers.

Also on Twitter, Danilo Gentili said that "the greatest pride" he has in his career is having managed to "displease both PT supporters and Bolsonaro supporters with the same intensity." "The tantrums, the false moralism, and the policing: it came at me hard from both sides. No comedian has displeased as much as I have. I'm still laughing :)", he added. In the 2018 elections, the comedian supported Jair Bolsonaro's candidacy, but today he says he regrets the decision.
