Cat Power releases new song.
The singer hasn't released a CD in six years; her new album will be released in September.
247 - On Monday, indie singer Cat Power released the video for her song "Ruin" online. The song will be on her album "Sun," which, according to Billboard, will be released on September 4th of this year. In the video, Cat appears with short hair, quite different from the image she sported when she became famous and had long locks.
It's been six years since Cat released a CD. Her last work was Jukebox, released in 2008. It was with this album that Cat came to Brazil in 2009, where she performed in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. In 2010, the singer returned to the country to perform at the Virada Cultural Paulista, in the city of São José dos Campos.
