Brasil 247 launches short story contest about the coronavirus quarantine.

Editora 247, which is part of the Brasil 247 website and TV 247 network, is launching a short story contest, featuring real and/or imaginary approaches to the experience of the coronavirus quarantine.

247 - "We want to encourage a systematic reflection on this dramatic experience we are going through as individuals and as a society" - this is the explanation given by Leonardo Attuch, founder of Brasil 247, for the 'Stories from Quarantine' literary contest initiative.

This is an initiative of Editora 247, which is part of the Brasil 247 website and TV 247 network. The goal is to share the real and imagined experiences of amateur and/or professional authors during the quarantine caused by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, in Brazil and abroad. 

People over the age of 12, from all corners of the planet, can participate, as long as they submit their text in Portuguese. The stories must have up to 10 characters and are limited to one text per participant. Those interested can register and submit their texts through an online form. The winner will receive a voucher worth R$1 to purchase books at [website/store name]. Martins Fontes Paulista BookstoreThe second-place winner will receive a voucher worth R$ 500. The third-place winner will receive a voucher worth R$ 300. 

The 15 best texts will be published in a book jointly edited by Editora 247 and Kotter Editorial.

The winners will be announced on April 28th on the Brasil 247 website.
